Hiking + Thinking + Mattress x Printer

3 days exhibition & events at the Gerrit Rietveld Pavilion (Amsterdam, NL) from the 8th to the 10th of may 2019.

«We wanted to propose a space between people and thoughts. We proposed a room for reflection. Hiking + Thinking + Mattress x Printer was a proposed situation where events and encounters fed the space and changed the room itself through the course of 3 days. We saw the space as a proposal for a place to be, to stay and spend time; a space to think slower among the fast pace rhythm of the academy.» 

The mattress was the main point of departure. It represented for us the place where thoughts are birthed on a daily basis. We filled the space with a selection of books borrowed from the school library and provided a printer to be used by anyone coming in to scan, copy, and bring contents present in the room back with them. H+T+M x P was a space where people’s presence and exchange with us enhanced various productions.
